First of all it was very nice to see and hear your outputs, its nice to see all my blabbering wasnt a waste but sorry i dunno if the "dead wings" will win it this year but they are a very good team dont get me wrong but in my opinion they are to old. My next posts will be about each individual NHL team about how they will do this year and what they need to do to go from competitor to a cup contending team. In alpabetical order Anaheim is up first. This is a very good team Getzlaf, Perry, Ryan and Hiller could carry this team deep into the second or first round But they need more depth and sorry Jason Blake is not the depth that they need if they have a busy trade deadline they could even better their chances, Brian Burke made a footprint for this team in the NHL and their GM has actually followed this foot print quite well they got a good all around team and a good coach if they do not compete for the cup this year next year you would think they will bring in atleast a few more faces that will not only score the odd goal but help the team by doing whatever it takes to win. Coming from the Beautiful city of Regina Sask just like Ryan Getzlaf, haha not so beautiful but Sask is probabley the best place in the world to learn the complete game of hockey not just scoring or Defence the whole game so if not this year or next year but Getzlaf will bring another cup to Anaheim and eventually back to the queen city, Getzlaf is to good of a leader and competive that Anaheim will eventually put a good enough team around him to win a cup. That is all for this blog next one will be about the Atlanta Thrashers

Hey Hockey fans im R420NHL, this will be my first post and entirley new to blogs, i have an open mind so say anything you like, i mainly will talk about the NHL but the world is an interesting but deceiving place so i can talk about anything. first thing i would like to right about is who will win the stanley cup this year? Getting right into it, The Blackhawks will not repeat as cup champions or go deep into the playoffs unless they get more depth and a goaltender, the core group for chicago works really hard and is very competetive but the rest of their team this year is a step or two behind so they need to make some deals, Pitsburg also they have a very competetive team but theirs somthing missing maby a winger? they have also been riddled for injuries this year so they may not even have their core group for the playoffs, malkin is injured for six months so you can count him out and with him out it may be hard for the team to go for a playoff run unless crosby carries the team. Phillidelpia has only gotten bettter from last year in my opinion they could go for a deep playoff run or even get to the stanley cup finals but their goaltender bobrovsky isnt ready for a cup championship, my team the Devils obviously arnt even going to make the playoffs but New Jersey has a very competitive nature and with Lemaire back look for the devils to finish strong and be back in the playoff hunt next year, Los angeles could very well be a cup contender they have a very all around good team if they can make a few good trades at the deadline and Anze Kopitar, Dustin Brown, Drew Doughty and Jonathan quick want to win and learned anything from the playoffs last year look for them to make mayhem in the playoffs like chicago last year, Detroit has a good good team but their to old and i will leave it at that, Boston could also go deep they have the scoring, depth, goaltending and grittyness watch for boston to atleast get past the 2nd round this year, Washington will never win the Cup unless Ovechkin can outragously lift up his game in the playoffs like Crosby did in 08, and 09, Ovie himself if he plays like a machine should get everyone on his team playing hard, Vancouver is very close to going for a cup run like the Flames and Oilers did but they need a top six forward or move Kesler to the first line right wing and let Hodgson center Raymond and Burrows on the First line, Kesler has become on of the hardest working players in the league and is willing to do the easy things to win like going to the net, corners etc, Hodgson just has the good ol Canadian nature, work your ass off their is no reason for him to be a Stamkos of the league in a year or two, As for Luongo he proved last year in the Olympics he can win the big game, Trade Salo for a defender that will do whatever it takes to win and wont let somone stand in Luongos way and you got yourself a Stanley Cup Contender, Edmonton will be the last team i chat about on my first blog, Yes their rebuilding but when their built if they make smart moves will probabley win more cups then Pittsburg and Chicago, they are a very young team and not far off from being very compettive, keep Cogliano and Hemsky they will be useful trade Omark and Penner for either an offensive d-man or a thirdline left wing that will add scoring but sold defensive play as well, Edmonton could really use a puck moving d-man so if they get a top pick in this years draft look for them to pick a defenceman, thats all for my first post.
